The essence of learning is anamnesis. This requires listening before speaking and seeing before doing. Listening and seeing others are more important for learning than doing oneself. It is only when man is to perform action (archein) that doing is the only choice, but this happens only in the political sphere and in school.

Language is expression of essences. Attempting to write or speak anti-essentialist will always end up in a particular essentialism. This could be cultural essentialism, gender essentialism, or other forms of totalitarian tribalism. Humans are not trapped in an onto-theology. We are part of the onto-theology that always already exists in the world and that makes it possible for us to have language and sensus communis.

The essence of an idiot is lack of autonomy. That is to say, an idiot is not mastering one’s self, but is included as a piece in a mass without substance. Mass society will necessarily make it easier for idiots. In the same way, the social critique of individuality and subjectivity works effectively to promote man as an economic idiot and not a political subject.

Anti-essentialism is haste, acceleration, chaos, and the glorification of complexity.

The essence of philosophy is not to ask questions, but to seek to bring truth to the world. These truths are not opinions, nor are they correctness, but are answers in the form of truth-seeking sensations or notions of being in the world.

Care for and value those who are seeking the essence of existence, doubt those who have found it. Still, they might be true.

Humans are not able to do what we cannot do. Yet, the essence of learning is to do what we cannot do.

I wonder why I don’t teach the notions of cosmic connections. Not by praising, but by showing sensus communis through history or facilitate in a way humans are able to sense the oceanic feeling as Romain Rolland named the phenomenon. I don’t believe in the behavioristic reduction of human existence to a product of the environment. When Freud finalized the work of Descartes, by removing the soul for our life, what was left is a mechanical view of existence and athestic methodes dominates our search for truth. For the moment I sit by my computer, listening to Bach, breathing cosmic particles, experience essence of existence.

The essence of ethics is the relation between human and existence.
