The essence of class struggle is the experience of being inferior.
Class struggle is not just about material oppression. Equally important is moral oppression. In both cases, one’s own experience of inferiority is strongly present. The material inferiority can be accepted, the moral inferiority is often denied and often turned into hatred. Hatred towards those who manage to appear as or actualy is the moral superior class.
