If there is no essential knowledge of a phenomenon, the phenomenon might end up as its own counterpart. Democracy ends as a deliberate tyranny or the freedom to learn at school becomes hard work or child labour.

The essence of the earth is not a human construct, but real phenomenons that is thrown into the face of human being. These essences can be sensed or felt as part of human lifeworld, as existential feelings that give sense in our life. The science of the essence of the earth is a necessary part of man's quest for knowledge.

The essence of wrong doing is fanaticism and other kind of firmness in principles. But also lack of principles and openness towards everything may go wrong.

In the old story about Prometheus and Epimetheus, Prometheus gives the humans the godly ability to handle fire and the arts, but he could not steal the political wisdom from Zevs. Still, human has the possibility to know the different between personal and common interests, but we end up to be novis when it comes to political wisdom. There is no political wisdom without metaphysic and the “not being in the world”.
